1) Eat normal sized meals. By eating meals that fill you up, you will be less likely to over-eat later on during the day.

2) When you do snack, eat fruit, crackers, pretzels, vegetables, and other foods that are healthy and filling.

3) Keep healthy snacks handy. Pack a few extra healthy snacks with your lunch each day to eat when you get hungry, to help keep you away from those vending machines.

4) Drink a lot of water. A glass of water every few hours will help keep you full. If you don't like plain water, add lemon or a little bit of drink mix to it.

5) Brush your teeth after you eat. If your teeth feel clean, you are less likely to want to eat anything and get them dirty.

6) Keep a pack of gum handy at all times. A stick of gum will help satisfy your sweet tooth. If your school doesn't allow gum, chew it after school.

7) Use smaller portions of mayonnaise, cheese, and other fattening foods whenever possible.

8) Keep yourself busy all day. Don't give yourself time to sneak in a few extra snacks...

9) Find support. Hang around other people who are also trying to keep fit. If you hang around people who constantly snack, if will be very hard for you to resist eating.

10) Exercise. Walk up the stairs a few extra times a day, clean your house, or take the dog for a walk. The best thing you can do is find an exercise that you enjoy doing. I love to go jogging, and once in a while a little swimming say this to yourself and keep fit
