Mango milk shake

 

Ingredients 

2 Cups cubed mangoes

Half litre milk

Sugar

Ice cubes

Mixer

 

Instructions 

1.      Place cubed mango pieces with a little milk in mixer jar.

2.      Run mixer at speed low for 15 seconds till it is turned to a smooth paste.

3.      Add rest of milk, sugar to taste and ice cubes.

4.      Run the mixer for a few seconds and drink chilled from tall glasses.

 

 

Pineapple sherbet

 

Ingredients 

1 Tin pineapple chunks in syrup (850grams)

1 Glassful of chilled sour buttermilk

20 mint leaves

Blender

 

  Instructions 

1.      Freeze the tin of pineapple till solidly frozen.

2.      Put under running hot water for 1 minute before opening.

3.      Put the frozen chunks of pineapple into the blender container along with the buttermilk and mint leaves.

4.      Blend at high speed, stopping motor when necessary to push the fruit downwards towards the blades after the mixture gets soft sherbet consistency.

5.      Pour into glasses and top with mint sprigs.

 

 

Ice cream soda

 

Ingredients 

2 scoops ice cream

Half-cup milk

Half-cup fresh ripe fruit [strawberries, raspberries, cherries etc;]

Blender

 

Instructions 

1.      Put the fruit, milk and ice cream into the blender container.

2.      Run the mixer at low speed till smooth.

3.      Pour into a tall glass and fill with chilled carbonated soda or gingerala syrup, coffee or cocoa.

4.      For tangy ice cream sodas add lemon juice or orange juice.

 

 

Cold coffee

 

Ingredients 

6tbs instant coffee

3tbs sugar

1 cup boiling water

4 cups cold milk

4tbs cream

Mixer

 

Instructions 

1.      Dissolve the instant coffee and sugar in the boiling water.

2.      Let it cool in the jar.

3.      Whip the coffee and cold milk at low speed for 40 seconds.

4.      Add cream and whip for a further 30 seconds at speed low.

5.      Serve in chilled glasses.  

 

Strawberry Splash:
- 5 large strawberries
- 6 oz. strawberry yogurt, frozen
- 1 teaspoon granola (optional)
Put all ingredients into blender, and blend until smooth.


Pina Colada:
- 6oz coconut yogurt (frozen)
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 of a 20 oz can of crushed pineapple
- 1 cup milk
Put all ingredients into blender, and blend until smooth.
