Herbal Hair Oil

Since ancient times women have used nature products to care for their hair.  Ancient beauty recipes have not only been most beneficial in reducing the harmful effects of synthetic and chemical preparations.

A large amount of success has been achieved through the use of plant extracts that promote hair growth, 

Regular use of hair oil helps in in reducing a lot of hair problems.

The best season to make the hair oil is between November and April as all fresh flowers and herbal plants  are available in abundance and the heat temperature to mature the oil in the sun is also just right there being very little or no humidity.  

Ingredients Needed for herbal hair oil.

  • 2 kg coconut oil 
  • 1/2 kg sesame oil
  • 1/2 kg pure almond oil
  • 500 gms dudhi or lauki grated
  • 1 kg amla extract the juice
  • 1/2 kg rose petals 
  • 1/2 kg fresh brahmi leaves
  • 1/2 kg neem leaves
  • 100 gms black sesame seeds
  • 100 gms fresh mehndi leaves
  • 100 gms petals of hibiscus flowers, fresh chameli  flowers and fresh petals of lotus 
  • 100 gms powder of pure chandan
  • A few methi leaves

Combine all ingredients in a big metal vessel cover with a muslin cloth and mature in the hot sun for a month.  Then bring to a boiling pint and simmer for on hour. Cool and strain and store in glass jar.

Regular use of this hair oil with give a significant effect in three to six months
